Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals for scalar neutral type time delay equations

چکیده
In this paper a procedure for construction of complete type Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals for a scalar neutral type time delay equation is considered. The construction of the functionals depends on the so-called Lyapunov functions which satisfy a delay equation with additional boundary conditions. It is shown that these functionals admit lower and upper quadratic bounds. Exponential estimates for solutions of the scalar neutral type time delay equations based on the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals are presented. A new definition of the Lyapunov function is given, and a detailed analysis of its properties is carried out.

Robust stability of fuzzy Markov type Cohen-Grossberg neural networks by delay decomposition approach
In this paper, we investigate the delay-dependent robust stability of fuzzy Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with Markovian jumping parameter and mixed time varying delays by delay decomposition method. A new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) is constructed by nonuniformly dividing discrete delay interval into multiple subinterval, and choosing proper functionals with different weighting matr...
متن کاملDiscretized Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional for coupled differential-difference equations with multiple delay channels
Many practical systems have a large number of state variables, but only a few components involve time delays. These components are often scalar or low dimensional, and typically only one delay is present in each such component. A special form of coupled differential-difference equations with one delay per channel proposed recently is well suited to formulate such systems. This article extends t...
متن کاملInstability conditions for linear time delay systems: a Lyapunov matrix function approach
The construction of Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals with prescribed time derivative in the framework of the stability analysis of time delay systems has been addressed in several works, starting with the contributions of Repin (1965) and Datko (1971). In the past decade, this topic has been revisited by Kharitonov and Zhabko (2003), with the so-called functionals of complete type whose time der...
متن کاملAdmissibility analysis for discrete-time singular systems with time-varying delays by adopting the state-space Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model
This paper is pertained with the problem of admissibility analysis of uncertain discrete-time nonlinear singular systems by adopting the state-space Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model with time-delays and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. Lyapunov Krasovskii functionals are constructed to obtain delay-dependent stability condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which is dependent on the low...
متن کاملRobust Stability Analysis of Teleoperation by Delay-Dependent Neutral LMI Techniques
Abstract This paper studies the robust stability of teleoperation systems based on the 2-channel force-force (FF) control architecture, modelled by frequency domain or passivity techniques. More precisely, delay-dependent conditions are given as LMIs derived from Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals. We show that the teleoperation systems are stable under specific LMI conditions. This stability is g...
